Welcome to Debra's Web page!
Debra Mastrianni is an award-winning quilter who has designed and sewn
many unique quilts for herself and family members. With degrees in both computer
science and and fashion design, she brings a wealth of experience in pattern
design and color coordination to the field of quilting. Her background as a
computer programmer and engineer provides her with the ability to combine
the elements of many different software tools to produce stunning designs.
An avid sewer and designer, she began quilting in 1998.
In 2002, one of her quilts,
What a Twisted Web I Wove, was chosen to tour with the 2002 Hoffman
Challenge, and two other quilts, Rock Around The
Quilt Tonight and Blitzkrieg, won first and second place respectively at the 8th Annual Northeast
Quilt Festival in 2003.
Debra has recently decided to concentrate her efforts in the
area of machine quilting. She has purchased a new Gammill Optimum Plus and
has already completed her first quilt using the long arm machine.
